Useful
Science links
These
are the links I use everyday for my research.
-
Pubmed
- No scientist can survive without searching this database regularly.
-
Pedro
- We all know to visit this site for all our molecular biology needs.
-
Protein
Tools at ExPasy - Great tools for
characterizing protein sequence. My favorite tool there is ProtParam.
-
MS-Digest
- Great program for determining all possible digest fragments for your
sequence for several proteases. I especially enjoyed the user friendly
interface.
-
Swiss-Prot-
Protein sequence and domain information.
-
PDB
- For all your protein structure co-ordinate needs. However, this database
will soon be managed by a new group located at RCSB.
-
NCBI
- The site for access to Entrez
for more sequence searching and Blast
and Psi-Blast for homology
searches and awesome multiple alignment.
Analytical
UltraCentrifugation
Links
here are for my research using Analytical Ultracentrifugation.
-
RASMB
- General info and programs in studying reversible associations of macromolecules.
-
Bo Demeler's
UltraScan site - for info or download of his software for centrifugation
data analysis.
